| Anna Paquin (n e Paquin) is a New Zealand-Canadian actor and actress. It was not her intention to be an actor, but destiny determined otherwise. In the wake of the popularity of Jane Eyre opportunities were presented to her. She decided to pursue them, to concentrate on her studies. Her return to film came at the age of 14 taking on roles like Jane Eyre and Fly Away Home. Her part in"X-Menthe: X-Menfilm" was the first role to become her most recognizable. She reprised her role in the role of Roguein sequels such as X2and X-Men The Last Stand.She was also seen in small screen appearances notably as Elaine Goodalein's Bury My Heart at Wounded Kneefor which she was awarded her first Emmynomination. Soon after she received a flood of offers of acting roles in TV series. |
