Sutton Foster is an award-winning performer, dancer and actor who has been featured in eleven Broadway shows, including the revival of Violet - and originated parts in Broadway performances including The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performances in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Star Search was her first TV appearance at the age of fifteen. She then appeared in Bunheads as well as Psych as well as Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. Sutton Foster has toured the US and abroad as a soloist along with Michael Rafter. She performed songs from "Wish", her first solo disc, and her second CD, "An evening With Sutton Foster Live at the Caf Carlyle". She was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in the year 2011 in the form of Ball State University, where she is also advisor and faculty member for the Department of Theatre and Dance. The actress has been on the show the TV show "Younger", created by Darren Star, since March 2015.
